China to USA Ocean Freight Process
Plan your shipment through China receiving, ocean booking, export preparation and US delivery.
02 Receiving and supplier consolidation
Coordinate supplier arrivals at Guangzhou or Shenzhen. Arrange the required receiving, consolidation and packing services, then use the finished package measurements for the shipping plan.
03 Booking and container loading
Select LCL, FCL or special equipment. Coordinate cargo-ready dates, the booking and relevant cutoffs. Plan loading, lifting and securing for machinery or oversized cargo.
04 Export documents and sailing
Prepare the packing list and commercial invoice where applicable, and check the bill of lading details. Match declared quantities and cargo descriptions to the actual shipment.
05 Arrival and US clearance
Coordinate arrival documents and import clearance. Schedule port pickup or deconsolidation and confirm the receiving address and appointment requirements.
06 Final delivery
Match the truck and unloading arrangements to the cargo. The receiving contact checks the shipment and records any visible damage or missing items at handover.
